What is a Coach?

Do you want someone in your life...

        that you can trust completely?

that will listen to you wholly and intently?

who will always be in your corner?

who will hold you accountable to your ideals, plans, and goals?

that is completely unbiased and will not judge you?

that will be a mirror for your actions and words?

that is focused on your success?

If you said yes to any of these questions, then getting a coach in your life can be your best move right now!

Your coach is a very special person, probably like no one else you have ever worked with before. Your coach is always on your side, always has your best interests at heart, and always stands for you. Your coach should be a member of the International Coach Federation, who strictly adheres to its Code of Ethics. Included in this is a strong commitment to confidentiality. You should be able to tell your coach virtually anything and be confident that it will stay between you two.

The trust that is built in a coaching relationship yields this critical and wonderful benefit. You can work on things with your coach that you do not feel comfortable, for whatever reason, working on with others. This includes those who are very close to you, such as your spouse, family, and best friends, and those whom you have professional relationships with, such as peers, employees, boss, executive management team, or even a board of directors.

The stress of personal pursuits, work, and family can sometimes feel overwhelming. And since the stress and related challenges can often be isolating, they are often difficult to address head on. The unbiased, honest, and confidential relationship that you can enjoy with a coach provides the perfect medium for you to tackle and solve a myriad of situations. Even if circumstances feel terribly challenging or even insurmountable, you can have complete faith that you will be wholly supported during the process.

You can count on your coach to be completely honest, respectful, curious, challenging, and accountable. Within the coaching relationship, use your coach in each meeting as you see fit, but expect your coach to keep you focused on what’s most important to you.

Your coach serves you in the pursuit of your highest priority needs and goals.
